Female Bolivian Ram Attacking Male And Scaring Other Fish!

Thanks for all the advice but they seem to have calmed down a bit now and are pretty equally matched. However, the bigger of the two appears to be constantly swimming up by the glass at the front of the aquarium (unless that's just when I am there). Could he still be stressed by the other one even though they seem ok and he even does some of the chasing. The other one doesn't swim along the glass like this and they are both eating fine. He seems pretty healthy other than this. cheers

The guy swimming up to the glass, if he could talk is saying, "Oh God feed me, I feel faint, please, please feed me now, I may pass out. Help. By the way I love those blood worms if you have those." Cichlids are great about learning very quickly who is the hand that feeds and they put on this act that they may starve any minute. Don't fall for it. If they are coming up to the glass when you are around I think it is a sign they are settling in well. :good:

It is really cool to watch how these fish change up and act differently at different times. Enjoy.
