Female Black Molly

Dear Readers,

I have a black female molly which looks pregnant. I am unable to tell when it is due. As the fish is black it is hard to tell and the tummy looks bit squarish.

Any advise on this please help.

Welcome to the forum Sasi.
The black one in your picture is within a few days of her drop. Please have a read through of my post about my own female from one drop to the next. It focuses on using shape to judge your female. There are lots of pictures there along with what I saw at each point in those pictures. Most mollies, in fact almost all of my livebearers, never show a color change when carrying fry. Gravid spots are for beginner livebearer breeders of semi-transparent fish, nobody else uses them much.
