Female Bettas & Boraras Merah

Here's a little 28 litre tank I set up for 2 of my female bettas. Yesterday I bought some vallis and java moss for their tank. There's a couple fake silk plants still in their tank but those will be gone as soon as I find a couple dwarf amazon swords or something else I like. Also I took a couple pics of my Boraras merah. They are living with my betta persephone pair.

Just easy to care for, low light type plants as I don't have any type of CO2 system set up I don't have them in all my tanks yet though. Why am I not allowed to have live plants?
