I was wondering If I could put one of my female Bettas in my 30 gal. with an Angel and a shoal of Rasboras. Anyone ever try this

They should be ok as long as they don't kick hell out of each other in the first few minutes. Normally they are fine but sometimes the bettas (usually males) will try to beat up the angelfish. Put them in together and watch them for the first 30 minutes. If there is going to be a problem it will happen pretty much straight away.

Okay...Well I do not have the Angel yet, and was going to come home with Rasboras but I bought some Diamond Tetras instead. So.....now I have 5 Corys, 1 BN Plec, and 4 Diamond Tetras. I figured I should stock my tank first and add the Angel last. To try the Betta..... Do you think I should add both the Betta and Angel at the same time last ? Thanks

diamond tetras are nice fish. They will colour up well too when they are older.

If shouldn't make any difference if the angel is introduced before the betta or vice versa, or if they are put in together. If they are going to fight then they will fight as soon as they see each other. But I doubt there will be any problems. If you have some floating plants in the tank the betta can hang out near them and the angel can swim around the rest of the tank. The main fish bettas have a go at are other labyrinth species, (gouramis). In particular other male gouramis that are similar sized to the betta.
