Just noticed our little female dwarf gourami has lost half of one of her feelyboppers , do they grow back?

The 'feelers' are modified ventral fins that have become specialised for feeling and (believe it or not) tasting. 
Yes, it'll grow back though it may never regain its initial length. It won't hinder her in any way. However, watch that she doesn't develop an infection. The water needs to be kept extremely clean (regular water changes and no overfeeding!). Also, why did she lose it in the first place? If you have nippy fish in your tank, you may need to reconsider your stocking. Equaly, if you are currently keeping a pair of dwarfs (ie one male and this female), you should consider aquiring a couple mroe females to devide the male's attention.

will get some melafix tomorrow , will it be ok to add to tank as we have clown plecs?
we have only had them 3 days and we noticed it was half gone about an hour after we got her , we would love to get more females but all our lfs will only sell them as male/female pairs

Melafix contains something like 1% active ingredients - it does very little beyond prevention (and I like the smell) and should be harmless.
Have you tried asking your LFS for a special order or to make an exception (it always helps to make a huge fuss - or try suggesting they've actualy picked out two male or something - most don't have a clue). Otherwise, you can always try a different fish store/pet store or even order online.
It is entirely up to you whether or not you get more dwarf gouramies - just keep a close eye on your fish if you don't so you can spot things early if they go wrong.

have tried 3 different lfs and they wont order a female for us but its a great suggestion to look online , fingers crossed i can get another girl

If you live anywhere near Doncaster then Viscum sell females seperate. they have them in a seperate tank to the males.
