i just fed my fish frozen blood worms and i want to see if wil they eat cucumber can i feed them cucumber now? or is that too much? and i was thinking of leaving one big chunk in the tank will me black ghost be able to eat it, if its in a big slice

It should be OK - the cucumber won't break down into nearly as much ammonia as uneaten flake or bloodworm would, for example, so you shouldn't have any problems chucking in a lump of cucumber. The only problem is that it floats, so weigh it down with a stainless steel teaspoon or a plant weight, or it'll just bounce about on the surface
