I mix about 5 different foods in a container. Is this bad? I don't know why it would be, but I don't know. I put flakes, dried bloodworms, different types of pellets. Is there any down side to this?

I think you could just keep them all separate and feed them on alternate days, that's what i do, although i dont see much of a problem with what you are doing, other than it's more time consuming. I think bloodworm shouldnt be given everyday though as it can cause constipation i think?

Time consuming? I actually do this to save time! :D I have it all set up already. It's one container with a mix of food in it. I just feed them with it every day instead of taking pinches of everything. I didn't know that blood worms cause constipation, though. I won't put as much in it now.

Any one else have opinions? :)

I actually feed my Rainbowfishes freeze-dried bloodworms almost every day. Although I also feed them daphina every day too. What fish need to keep them healthy depends on the type of fish and their natural diet. The more accurately you can simulate the natural diet of your fish, the healthier and longer-lived they will be.

Home-made variety food is the best way to achieve this, although that may not be practical for everyone.
