Feeding Veggies, Tons

Ya I feed veggies every day in my tank. I have a big ol' pleco and two huge cats that need this veggie matter.

What is you experience about loose veggie matter in the tank? I don't have a problem with this stuff fluffing around when they swim by it. I'm more concerned if there is a problem with the matter going bad and if it will be harmful to water perameters or be harmful to fish.

I will suck the debris out every few days but....any info would be great.

I wouldn't let it rot in the tank.

After about 24 hours remove it and feed again.

i used to leave blanched zucchini slices in the tank for 3 days before removal, but it's 2 days before removal now. regardless, pieces of zucchini get sucked into the filter and clogs it in my experience.

anyone know how to prevent this? i always have some zucchini slices in my 10g for the 4 otos.

I put zucchini/cucumber in my tanks for 24 hours then fish it out regardless of if its all eaten or not. It rots and polutes the water sending the water quality plummeting
