Hey, I'm just wondering if those of you who own a betta have set feeding times?
I try to feed my betta at the same time every day but never do because if i feed him early in the morning before school then i can't do that on a non school day because i like to stay in bed longer, as im tired after a week of school.
I think its better to have a feeding time as shimmer would get used to waiting at a certain time for his food that he'd be used to, thats if their smart enough lol.
Let me know what you think. :)
P.s Im not at school now off for 5 weeks, so i could feed at the same time each morning but then when im back at school that routine wouldnt work.

Why not just feed in the afternoons when you get back from school.... that way, you'll be awake over weekends when you're tired..... Good policy IMO to feed at the same time each day...... getting them into a routine

More often feedings required though, when you have fry. (little bits at least 3 times a day)

I take my boys by surprise :shifty: lol

I don't have a set feeding time as it makes it harder for when they may not be fed for a few days, like on thursday i'm going on a 2 week holiday and they will be fed once throughout the entire two weeks.

I just feed them as and when :good:

I might feed at 4 every day, but some days i wont be in like on a modnay im at my nans 3.30 til about 5.30.
Hmmm ill have to think.
Maybe i could feed him at night instead, at like 9 every night.

I generally feed when back after work, but some days skip and others whenever! They never starve and keeps them guessing! I would stay during the week they are mostly regular and weekends is the pot luck ;)

I am trying to get my Luna into a routine. 3 Pellets in the morning and 3 pellets at night. Then as an treat on Friday, A small bit of a pea, which he loves. And on Saturday and Sunday a bloodworm with his pellets.
