Feeding Time

i fed cooked ham 2 me fishes i was just wondering would it do them any harm?

Fish really shouldn't be fed fatty meats from mammals. On occasion people will use beef-heart as a protein source for certain fish, but heart tissue is extremely lean if well cleaned...pork is not.

but it wont kill them of cause ive heard of people feeding tin foil chicken and stuff. but was just wondering with ham cause me pictus cat fish went mad 4 it

Ham is generally filled with preservatives & chemicals. Probably not a good idea to feed an itty bitty creature such food.

4 angels 4 pictus 2 juwels 2 bala`s 4 tinfoil barbs 1 common pleco at 3inchs and the other at 7 inches and 7 tiger barbs

you may feed them frozen blood worm, or tetra bits (though tetra bits is for discus fish but you may feed them)...

well an update on my fish after eating ham lastnight. me pictus have doubled in size and more liveleir . and my tinfoil barbs well ther always busy

1. I doubt your pictus has physically doubled in size overnight.

2. How big is this tank you keep the fish in.

well ther alot bigger. its 240 ltr tank i would put pictures up but my broadband is goin that slow with bt. that it would take 2 this time 2morro 4 them 2 upload
