Apparently my tank glass is not as clean as I originally thought, or else Plato, my 4.5 in common pleco, would have starved to death by now, for sure. I have tried everything I can think of, short of physically moving him next to zucchini, cuccumber, and algae wafers. He's also of the habit of finding the smallest thing in the tank to get himself wedged into.

Anyone have any thoughts about what to do to get him to eat something other than the side of the tank? I just want make sure that he's getting enough nutrition.

I know...I'm such worry wart. Hey, I'm a Dad, and my children have fins and like to school....what's the problem? ;)

Here is the link to good article of feeding plecos especially the picky tough to feed fish. Although I never tried them since I am pretty new to the pleco and my BN have no problem eating and processing through their body. And they are good at leaving the trail of it. Anyway, there are pretty good idea of egg white mixture at the end of article.

Hope it works for you.
