My lovely snakeskin gourami isn't eating much. In fact, he rarely eats nowadays. I feed him the same thing as the other fish: flake food, but he doesn't seem to have an appetite. Then I tried the brown sinking pellets. Other fish love it, he doesn't. Then I try live food life frozen blood worms and stuff. Again, other fish like it, he doesn't. The little guys doesn't seem to be sick or stressed. In fact, he's one of the more active fish in the tank. He lives with one clown loach, and 2 bala sharks in a big 60 gallon aquarium. Anybody know why he lacks an appetite?

EDIT: Oops, I forgot to mention that an angelfish and a golden tinfoil barb live there as well. All fish get along like peas in pod. :hyper:

Can you post your feeding diary please? What exactly does the gourami do during feeding times? How big are the other fish?

On a side note: I do not know of any 60 gallon tank which is suitable for clown loaches, Bala sharks and tin foil barbs in the long term. I used to look after some Bala sharks which were in a ca. 8*3*4 ft tank and they looked cramped even in that. I also recommend that schooling fish (clown loaches, Bala sharks and tinfoil barbs) are kept only in schools (i.e. in groups of 6+).
