Feeding Poorly Fish?

hi all,

i have a slightly under the weather bolivian ram which from what i have read will be fine with a few more water changes.

my question is should you feed poorly fish more or less than normal? my thinking is to feed the same as normal to help keep strength up?

I suppose the way i would look at it, if a sick fish still has its appertite then its got to be a good sign.

why will water changes help it? Have you got ammonia/nitrite readings?
