I feed my betta 1 pellet 3 times a day and then I fast the guy once a week. Is this good or am I feeding to much?
When I get some blood worms I'll feed them to him from time to time.

naw your not overfeeding
my boys are piggies
they get 3 blood worms twice a day
and my female is in a community tank so she likes to gorge
just make sure he's eating it all

blood worms are a good idea
out of pellets, flakes and worms i have had the most success with health, colour and activilty/exercise with blood worms

Sounds just about right to me, buggy... I feed Horatio between 2 and 5 pellets/day with 1 day off per week. 1 or 2 days/week I substitute frozen bloodworms for the pellets. He's a happy, healthy betta. I'm thinking of adding a third type of food to his diet. Variety is the spice of betta life. :)

i give mine 3 types of foods, Hikari Bio Gold pellets , Tetra Min Pro (Flakes) , Blood Worms per day ...

As long as you vary foods and feed them small amounts many times a day (they have a fast metabolism), then they should be fine.:D
