Ive just read that carrot is good for mbuna but how do i go about feeding them carrot?
Would i be ok to cut a peice of carrot and leave it at the bottom of the tank or would it have to be grated?

I'd definately parboil it first to soften it up a little, and I wouldn't leave it in too long. :good:

Well i opted for a chunk of cucumber instead as its softer and ive seen the lfs feed it

well they have never poo'd so much in their lifes after that, the sand is litterally covered in poo!

no more cucumber for long long time, maybe xmas next time they havin that lol :shout:
