Apart from the usual Tropical Fish Flake food for my Honey Gouramis and Betta Bites for my Female Betta, What types of live frozen food from pet stores would you all recommend for Honey Gouramis and Bettas?

What about leafy greens? What kind can I or should I feed my Gouramis? :)

Bettas aren't that big on vegetables so, reffering to the honey only, when it comes to 'leafy greens' things like lettuce, cucumber, zuchinni, peas - all the fish-friendly vegetables you generaly here about :p Most will need to be blanched/boiled to make them softer and the peas need to be de-shelled. Some gouramies will like on type more than others. Also, if you don't mind doing so, you can buy some of the softer varieties of aquarium plant - honeys will usualy take bites out of those as well :)

As far as live foods go, both your gouramies and betta should pretty much devour brine shrimp, bloodworm and blackworm. Daphnia is also very good for them but some like it more than others. The frozen equivalents of these foods are equaly good but avoid freeze-dried alternatives as they are realy lacking in nutritional value and can cause bloat and constipation.

Besides all these foods and the flake/betta bites you're feeding already, you can also feed sinking foods and catfish pellets. My gouramies love them because they are high in protein. It's best not to give excessive amounts but a little once in a while is great and you should find all your fish take a bit (as long as they are willing to venture to the bottom for it ;)).

Definately bloodworms - they seem to be accepted more readily than all the other frozen livefoods. Maybe it's the colour, but I rarely find my fish eat much of other livefoods when frozen
