Feeding: How Often And How Much?

Hi,

Ive had my tank since November and no fish for a month, then slowly introduced fish over another month.

They all seem happy (no perculiar behaviour) etc.

I have a 74L Fluval Duo Deep with 6 neon tetras, 5 platys and 10 zebra danios.

Ive been feeding them about 2 pinches of dry flake food once a day but if i go near the tank they all go nuts and swim near the surface as if they want more.

Should i feed them more often?

Hi there pmilne. So from the beginning of December when we last talked did you decide to cycle the tank? Did you obtain a test kit?

Many of our members feed a very small amount of flake at a regular time and try to get a feel for how much their fish can eat in no more than 2 or 3 minutes. It is not a problem if a day out of the week gets missed but it is a problem if you overfeed.
