can they be fed live black crickets?

my gecko eats them, and i was wondering can the puffers?

Try it and see..if there not too big then they should be fine
I wouldnt give it to them as theyre staple diet, stick to stuff like bloodworm, mussel, cockle etc but as an occasional treat it should be fine :good:
The hard shell on them will help to grind down there teeth abit too

I'd agree, as a treat just fine. But there's some reports that black crickets cause digestive problems for a variety of fish so be careful and look out for things like constipation.

My puffers love woodlice, and these are safe to use and easy to find (in my garden, anyway).

Cheers, Neale

i feel bad about picking up woodlice and leading them to their doom :S

awww how sweet

i need non cute live food lol

even feeding them snails upsets me a little lol, how sad am i

My GSPs love insects. They go nuts over crickets, flies, worms and even rolly pollys(pill bug).
