Hi this is going to sound like a really stupid question but I put my platy fry into the main tank yesterday (all 14 of them, they're so small against my adult fish!) but tomorrow I would normally feed frozen blood worms.

Obviously my little babies won't be big enough to eat blood worms just yet so should I also add a small amount of ground up flake just for them or is that going to give me ammonia troubles?

I'll be doing my weekly 20% water change on Sunday if that's any help

note:
for those that don't know I got a new tank for xmas. I added all the media from my established tank into the new filter to seed it but the new filter is still immature that's why I'm asking what sounds like a stupid question

When you defrost the blood worm, chop it up a bit with scissors, they'll manage. My guppy fry are smaller than your platys and they just eat whatever I feed the adults.

really? I didn't think they'd be able to manage it even chopped up. I'll give it a try, thanks :)

Yeah, it just slurps down!

Plus do you really expect platys of any age to ignore something edible going past them?

This is what they look like now ... too cute for words IMO
