Hi,

My swordtail fry are doing great but still not growing too much. :shifty:

They are still in a breeding trap and have a lot of food on the bottom (finely crushed). Should I still be putting food in or wait until that goes first. It has been there a good week or so.

Any help appreciated. :good:

Siphon it out it is probably already rotten they will never eat it and feed fresh in less quantity

Feed them liquifry for the first week(thats gone past..) and then onwards (until theyre big enough not to be eaten by bigger fish and can except big pieces of flake) feed them fry powder(i think its called liquifry no3). My guppy fry havent grown much but big enough not to be eaten by their mum and a bala shark! And they can eat bloodworm now! Theyre about the length of my thumb nail and just a lil bit bigger.
Good luck

I feed my guppy fry crushed up shrimp pellets.

I just get out a pellet, crush it with the top of the lid until its like powder (takes maybe 2 crushes) and sprinkle it. They love it. Its very easy for them to eat due to the powder consistancy.
