I've just added a pair of Pictus Catfish to my tank and the aquarium said they prefer bloodworm to flake food, I usually feed my fish alternatly bloodworm and flake food anyway. However the Catfish aren't really getting the bloodworm as all the other fish eat it before it gets down to them. If I try and put it in near the bottom they swim off and hide and the other fish eat it again. Do you have to give them bloodworm pellets? (do they exist)

Have you tried using a pipette (like we use for water testing) to spread the treats to different areas in the tank, to the Pictus get some? If they are new, they may well be too stressed to eat for a few days anyway, but something else that springs to mind is to add some bloodworm after "lights out" as I think Pictus are quite nocturnal (and is often when any snack sized small tankmates will go missing).
