Can anyone give me some advice about feeding my tetras all 12 of them brine shrimp [frozen] The LFS weren't very helpfull, mostley youngsters and saturday staff. They did manage to show me the amount and they said i didn't need to thaw it before putting it in the tank, but this is where i need advice, do i put it in in one lump and they all go for it together or do i break it up.

just thaw it out and put it in your tank, there isnt really a right or wrong way, you can disperse it but you dont have too.

Just to let you know adult brine shrimp isnt that nutritious so feed it sparingly as a treat.

Thanks for that i gave them some and they loved it.They already had a normal feed this morning so like you said it's a treat.

look for spirulna enriched or omega-3 enriched brine shrimp, those are a bit more nutritious but taste just as good if not better for the fish.
