I have had my two male dwarfs for about a month now and have been feeding them Tetra tropical flakes. They seem very happy and healthy, always feed really well twice a day. My question is do I need to supplement thier diet. Also I have about 6 sword plants in the tank and they dont bother these at all I thought they ate plants like crazy??

Thanks B)

A lot of people recommend feeding them bloodworm every few days (frozen or fresh i guess) as this is supposed to provide them with something (iron?) which helps them keep well and improves their colours. Mine definately seem to love it.

I give mine some frozen BBS or bloodworm about 3 times a week.
They love it and it's good to give them some variety. It's also a good
idea to get them used to more than one kind of food, so they don't get picky!
