hi, food wize there,s quite a few things to feed discus on, brine shrimp are good for young discus, i feed mine minced white fish, shrimp, banana, beaf-heart, garlic salt and all thier vitamins also black worms if you can get them mosquito lava washed and choped garden worms i,ve heard of, and theres a lot more if you ask in your lfs hope this helps :good:

Brine shrimp, Mysis shrimp, Beefheart, Seafood mix (I posted a recipe if you can find it :p ) Glass worms, Ocean Nutrition Prime Reef flake, Angelplus Pro growth flake (http://www.angelsplus.com/) and also Australian Black Worms (http://www.blackworms.com.au/)

For my juvy fish I feed six times a day:

9:00am Seafood mix
12:00pm Angelplus pro growth (from auto feeder)
2:00pm Angelplus pro growth (from auto feeder)
5:00pm Beefheart mix
8:00pm Beefheart mix
11:00pm Australian Black Worms

Also occasional glass worms

Adults normally get fed three times a day, I normally feed them a variety of brine shrimp, blood worms, prime reef, occasional seafoox mix/beefheart and mysis shrimp.
