Feeding Cucumber

Yesterday I put a piece of cucumber in the tank andm y fish have gone crazy over it. It is probably 2/3 gone now, and i keep seeing the fish go over and pick at it. How long should I leave it in there for? The seem to be enjoying it.

I dontknow but I think you should take it out or eles it might(not sure) polute your tank.
