I hear they'll eat anything. They need a good balanced diet. Vegetables and Brine Shrimp, how much of each. Do I put one chunk of meat in there per fish. And Veggies do I chop up a little bit of a carrot or cucumber etc into little pieces and give it to them? What all do you feed yours? And how often do I need to feed 'em, if they get hungry and I'm not around will the attack and eat each other?

I think it's a rule with any fish to feed as much as all your fish can comsume within a couple of minutes. you don't want any left over food left behind because it will cause problems in your tank. I usually feed my fish a variety diet providing a different kind every day. I also only feed my fish once a day not twice like some of the fish food labels will tell you. I think it's too much to feed them like that and can really do numbers on your water quality.

I would consider convicts to be predatory fish . If say I wasn't there to feed 'em for a few days (you never kniw what'll happen) would/could they turn on each other?

Also I was considering moving to a feed every other day or a feed every 3 days schedule, is this a bad idea for convicts?
