Hey guys I was just wondering whats the best way to feed my African Clawed frogs live brine shrimp. A local pet store sells them and I was wondering what preperation is involved before I hurl them in to there doom.

First of all, welcome to the forum.

When you buy live brineshrimp, they will come in some sort of bag filled with water. Just pour the whole lot into a net, which will catch the brineshrimp and let the water drain away. I wouldn't add the water to your tank. Then just drop them into the tank. Your frogs will go wild. :good:

So basically its pretty easy. Just drain and dump? How long will they live after you put them in freshwater? Because I know there meant to live in a salt concentrate water. Sooooo...

Don't know how long they live. They always get eaten before i can find out.

Seriously, yeah just drain and dump. :good:

Thanks a bunch guys. Because I've been wanting to feed them Brine shrimp before I got them, While my sister swore they dont have enough nutrients. She was feeding hers blood worms and now there both in the same tank. So for now they both eat frozen bloodworms which I hear dont have much nutrients either.
