Hey,
I'm having a little trouble feeding my volitan. He's about 3 inches and hasnt eaten in a week.he only eats gupppies. i tried shrimp today but he didnt touch it. any suggestions?

Give him a few days and see how hungry he gets ;)

Tried Krill yet?

I believe they might eat small crayfish, try adding some live brine shrimp. have you tried wiggling shrimp on a feeder stick. May be he's just bored with the guppies. try offering him little pieces through out the day, rather than one large one. Volitans can over eat, and should only be feed 2 to 3 times a week, may be he just had one guppy to many. To be honest its not easy to work out why he's not eating, as you can see it could be a number of reasons.
If his behaviour is normal otherwise, I wouldn't worry to much yet, just keep an eye on him, and try adding different foods in slowly.
Also I think if the temperature of the water has dropped they may not eat so much, have you checked your heater?
Is his breathing normal?
How long have you had him?

 Sorry seem to be asking you more questions!!!!
