Feeder Fish

I hear that feeding bigger fish goldfish is bad and that they have a sort of enzyme on them which is poisonus. But i have been feeding my chiclids minnows about every month and i am wondering if they too carry that deadly enzyme ... anyone know about this?

Rosy red minnows do contain it (thiaminase) if I'm not mistaken.

You really don't need to feed feeder fish at all, even if you have huge SA cichlids or something.

Yeah feeder fish are less nutritouse than pellets so you really are better with pellets
