Feeder fish

Believe me i dont condone the use of feeders in any way, on the occasions i have been forced to use them to keep a predator alive i havent even watched the event happen as i find the whole idea distasteful.

Gut loading is giving the feeder fish a large feeding just prior to giving them to the predator, this way the nutrients in the food are passed on to the predator when it digests the feeder

Like you said in an earlier post there are the exceptions where the predator will only accept live fish but in a lot of instances as you say these feeder fish could be substituted with other foods like frozen stuff.Im not knocking anyone just trying to get my facts right and understand it a little better as i know nothing about the kind of fish that eat the feeders.
