I have a 24" tank,
which contains:
6 Neon Tetras
3 lemon tetras
3 black line tetras
3 glowlgiht tetras
2 cherry barbs
3 corys
1 CAE :X

so when i feed them the neon tetras are the only fish that go to the top so they eat the flakes before the othjer fish can get any.
the cory and CAE are fine because they get sinking pellets,
Some of my tetras are loosing clolour becasue of no diet. :/
what do i do? :dunno:

Take the food, and release it under the water level, so it doesn't stay on the top. Or, if you have a power filter, add the food to the return water flow, so it gets pushed into the water column.

An easy way to make the food sink is to get a cup and scoop out some water from the tank. THen put the food in the cup with water and stir it around. When u pour the water with food into the tank it will sink.

You could try adding food in several places in the tank, maybe some would sink before the neons got it?

Also I fed my fish some bloodworms today and noticed that the worms wiggle all over the tank so fish anywhere can get them - also that tehy can only it one at a time cos they're quite long.

i have never thought of that, i cant put it infront of my power fiulter because its pointing upwards so that i dont get a slime coating on the waters surface
