My tank is pretty much stocked or will be next week when i pick up the six sterbai corys ive ordered. worked out i can have about 35 medium fish and still leave some room for growth. when the corys move in i will have 32 fish. i thought i might bu a pair of fish as a feature fish must be something striking to look at but everything i like is aggressive, what can i get that will fit in with a passive community tank ?

What other fish do you have, and how big is the tank?

Discus, Pearl Gouramis, rams, apistos?
Discus are peaceful and like groups so i wouldnt do those... I will say i have 4 pearl gouramis in my 180 gallon and love them they all hang out with eachother barely ever fight, are colorful and seem to be peaceful but are also my smallest fish...

Also would like to know your size tank and water stats please.

Right well according to the booklet that comes with the tank its actually just over 38 gallons the fish are as my profile, 4 swords, 4 mollies, 4 male guppies, 6 boesami rainbows and 8 neon tetras, all fish are juveniles. ^ sterbai are on order and will be added next week.

The rainbows need around sixty gallons because they get large pretty quickly. The sterbai's will also be uncomfortable in the same water as the live bearing fish who all prefer harder water. If you moved the rainbows to a suitable tank, sorted out the tetras, then you would be open for more options.

Ok well food for thought there thanks. i will have a 20/25 gallon tank in january so will probably move the guppies swords and mollies into that. may get a small nursery tank as well and try breeding the livebearers to sell on. So they will be gone before space becomes an issue.
