I remember you saying that you were going to receive some fish from http/www.directtropicals.co.uk on Tuesday.

I'm just wondering how it went - did the fish arrive to you in good condition? Would you recommend them?

Yes arrived and am verrrrry happy

The only disadvantage over another online supplier is that you cant pick your delivery day. this was a bit problem for me as I work in a horrible office every hour of every day but they said orders 'usually' arrive three days after they are placed. It did - duno what I would have done if it didn’t, poor fish!

Oh, how silly of me, of course, I could have PMed you... Anyway, never mind, got in touch with you in the end! Sounds great about your order! It's nice to hear that, as it's good to get a feel as to what online retailers are good. I can see the problem with not being able to choose the delievery day though! Although not so much of a problem for me as I'm a student and can leave the lab pretty much when I please.
By the way, can I be nosy and ask you what you got?

ahh to be a student again.

Yep got some Ottos, love them! Im not really a fan of anything sucky mouthed - dont like plecs ( except perhaps zebra plecs and a few of the small L numbers) but Ottos have such a cute shape.

WIll you be ordering? what you going to get? They have an arrive - alive policy aslong as you are able to meet the delivery first time. first time.

Hehe, yes, it's not too bad being a student! Although to be honest I feel like I've been a student for so long, it's time to move on... Hopefully soon!

I'm thinking of ordering a few things but that'll only be once I get my tank which won't be until mid September when I move house, then give that 4-8 weeks to cycle, so it'll be a while before I get anything living to put in it!! Ah well, I'm sure the waiting will be worth it. The timing also works out quite good because just about then I'll start writing up my thesis and setting up a tank will give me something else to think about when I'm getting all stressed with it!!

Sounds great with the ottos, they seem like such cool creatures! Happy to hear that they arrived in good condition

yer fish are great distraction from the more complicated things in life (although some people seem to like making fish keeping complicated!)
