Big fish
Okay here is the 411 on fancy goldfish (no not the colored peperidge farm snacks) for those of you who dont know.
Fancy goldfish are with out a doubt the most imbred creatures on the planet (there is more genetic diversity among california condors than there is in all of the bubble eyed goldfish populations of the world). They are distinguished by there round bodies and sometimes double tail and anal fins. They are all members of the species Carassius auratus (just like other goldfish) and were linebred in China, Japan, and Thiland. Now they have been line bred for man thousands of years and none of the varieties you see in the LFS were bred by anyone alive today.
There round bodies are often contain deformed swim bladers which often lead to the death of the fish consequently they should not be fed food that floats on the surface because it can lead to air ingestion and death. They cannot be kept with carp shaped goldfish (unless the carp bodieds are about 1/2 there size) because they will be out compeated for food.
They grow to be 8-10 inches long and will behave just like normal goldfish where plants are concerned.
here is a black moore

Here is a lions maine Oranda the big folded braine looking thing on his head is a growth of skin and they require lots of protein in ther ediet as apose to the standard goldfish which requires lost of carbs. That mass will cause his head to dip and make life extra hard for him.
And here is the infamouse bubble eyed gold fish if one of those pops they useualy die.
