Fan Tail Complications

To day i awoke to one of my therid dead fan tail. I Have had maney fan tails in the past and the only way i lose them is when they get eaten or i see that there realy sick and i feed them to my jack demsi. But today i saw a dead femail that was WAY pregnent dead at the bottum. The babys were alive but they wernt developed to the point of living out side of the mother. I think what caouse this sudden death was that i had 3 other femails give birth and right after they give birth i usualy feed them a good amont. Not all that much but more thn a normaly do. My thing with fan tails is feed them berly any thing. Hungry fish are health fish. But i think this female was OVER pregnant and the food in her stomach dident help It. Her stomach looked wierd too. Can this happen Any one have any good info on fan tail breeding. So far i been doing alright just puting plants in the tank and thers baby's all the time. LOL but any scientific jargen could help.

I haven't had problems with overfeeding pregnant fish before but I have had very pregnant fish die on me. Was it the female's first pregnancy? I had one die from the stress (or something) when she was very pregnant.

It is better to have a starving fish than a overfed one

I haven't had a problem with a pregnant female overeating either. Kind of hard to control because I have clowns and she would pig out on the wafers to the point where she looked like she would explode but no problems. She just had another batch a couple days ago but unfortunately I didn't get any . I think sometimes for whatever reason they just die from complications.
