Yes, assuming you're in it for the money....they might be in it to help the fish, or just help pay for the fishkeeping stuff. Not everyone charges 250 quid, or anywhere close to that in fact...

more often, breeders only sell their zebras to others who are interested in breeding them and not just for a community tank

I unfortunately was never able to get my hands on a Zebra Pleco. They are an absolutely striking looking fish, and I would love to be blessed with one, someday. I love my common pleco though, can't complain.

Why not try Imperial Zebra plec they have them at my lfs (maidenhead aquatics) they look cool same as zebra but where the zeb is white and black the imperial is a light brown and black and a lot cheaper £35 i will be getting some as soon as my tank has cycled.

I personally think King Tigers and Queen Arabesque plecs are just as nice

Can't help much with this type pleco, biut I have ordered from this site before, and they were good with packaging the fish so that they arrived in good condition. However, there were delays with my last order.
