Fake Coral...anyone used it?

I just bought a couple pieces of very pretty fake coral....and it looks great in the tank....just put it in there today after I did my weekly water change...anyway...I just took it back out because I walked past the tank and found one of my gold barbs to be stuck in it.....I had to pull the poor fishie out by his tail...he lost a couple scales in the process, but seems to be swimming fine now. I am hoping that the fish store will take the coral back as it was quite expensive and I don't want to put it back in for fear of this happening again.

is it those ones with the air pump atachment.( you can find it underneath if it is)
if it is i know why a fish got stuck in it.
the coral(fake) is made for airpump purposes only the fish got stuck in it because the holes in it are like homes to them but they dont know that they will get stuck in it.
if you want to keep the coral in buy an airpump and hook it on a fine streem of bubbles will be released into the water adding a nice decorative feature and adding O2 at the same time.

No, it wasn't the type that used an airpump....it had a solid surface bottom and the coral part was like little fingers that were rather close together. I have a few bubble items in my tank, so I am familiar with them. Thanks
