Hi. I have a female swordtail who had been acting like she has had a stroke for three days now. Not getting any worse, but no better, either. Her body is torqued around and she looks pitiful. She doesn't seem to have trouble with maintianing depth, and she is swimming surprisingly well for the way she looks. She is eating just fine. My ammonia and nitrite are 0. Ph is 8. GH is 11. What should I do? Do you know of a disease that this is a symptom of?TIA!

Fish can have strokes but when they do they don't survive long, sorry.

Lovely. So there is nothing I can do for her?

I dreamed she died last night. She's still kicking this morning, though.

Sorry no i can't think of anything.

Is she pregnant by any chance or seems to have lost or put on weight suddenly recently? When you say her body is torqued do you mean her spine appears bent or she has kinks in her body or simply holding her tail at an odd angle?
