No it on a side in the kitchen she jumps onto the side to look at them, she likes the corys the best. and licks her lips at the big goldfish tank.

Don't worry people, the cat won't be harmed  I do understand that its natural for a cat to do this, both my cats are outside cats and are always killing birds and mice. I hate it when they do this but theres nothing I can do about it. Actually, we don't feed the birds around here because of the cats, so I guess that helps a bit. And before the "why don't you keep yours cats inside" argument starts up, we never intended for them to be outside cats, but they spent there first few months of life outside all the time so when we brought them home they got extremly pissed off that they couldn't go out, our male even started to destroy stuff.

And yes, there is a lid on the tank, its glass and theres a small opening going along the whole back of the tank, just big enough for our cat to reach his paw down there :/ So that'll have to be fixed, just don't know what to do with it, don't want it to look junky as this tank is in our living room.

I didn't mean to start a fight :X

You didn't start a fight :D If anyone was going to be upset and have a rant about the "f***ing* cat then you would - it was your fish so you would be upset. I would be exactly the same, mine would be called for everything and chased out until I'd calmed down a bit. It was just that I found some of the remarks from other members very offensive.

Anyway someone that was going to take it out on a cat wouldn't have your signature for a start :)

Does you good to have a rant! I do it all the time in real life.As you say cats will be cats. They are designed to kill, look at their teeth and claws. Sorry about your fish. Is the cat looking really pleased with itself, they usually do after a catch? :)

A guy in my club was having this problem with one of his cats getting into his betta grow outs. Of course bettas are curious enough to come check out the situation so....they got it. He eventually threw the cat in the tank a few times and now it goes nowhere near them  Don't try this at home, kids.

Sorry 'bout your fish.

ive reduced my amount but i cant make it only 5 lines

    Thats is so freaking funny.

Luckily all our cats are too ADD to bother my fish. My cat and my mother's cat pay no attention, and my dad's cat seems to be mildly retarded and paws on the outside of tanks rather than try to get in them

sorry bout ur fish, id like to se a cat try getting at my fish, red bellied pirahnas, that would be a site. i hate cats, sorry to say but it would be bloody funny!!!! lol

theres more meat on a cat than me. im their feeder, so they wouldnt eat me if not they'd starve!! never mind hey!!! i guess ur a cat lover then??? ....

im sorry to hear ur fishies try to eat u, but the hate i have for cats come from the flea ridded beggars trying to kill a childhood pet, since then its, 'oi theres a cat, grap the tennis balls' sorry to admit it.!!!!

my pirahnas know know that the tank is opened for eith feeding or cleaning and as we have to do it very often they know the score.

Lucifer :)

If you don't like or have cats, then this situation wouldn't come up...would it? So you are just being kinda malicious towards cats by making remarks about their welfare like that.
I'm sorry, but thinking a cat being ripped apart by pirannha's or harmed in any way by human hands is in any way remotely funny (regardless of whether you like them or not) is just mildy disturbing imho.

Anyone who owns cats knows they are hunters and knows that if they have birds, mice, small reptiles, or fish...that if left unattended and attainable...that they are fair game to the cat.

It's not their fault ... God made them hunters/meat eaters. You can't teach them not to hunt. They are born with that instinct..it's not like them jumping up on the counter. :(

Tying cloth around them to make them fall over is remotelyhumorous...as long as you make sure it isn't gonna hurt itself. I've put scotch tape (the kind for taping papers together..very low stick) on the bottoms of my cats feet..and watched them high step a few times...but it's not really "all" that funny. Except to my son and his littles buddies.
