Extra Lighting

Was going to buy another t5 juwel high light replacement lighting bar for my 400 but saw this:

would this be suitable and could it be mounted on the existing flaps AND is it easy?

It looks fine to me. It says it can run HO tubes so cant see any issue. End caps look the same as the ones on my luminare. Not sure how water proof they are but I think you get the same ones on the standard jewel T5 lights.

It should be that easy to install, just make sure the ballest is not exposed to water.

Hmmm what you want to do Seffie is add a nice LED array in there much much better light cheaper to run and you get the lurvely shimmer.

But dont pay the £300 for the new aquaray make one for a fraction of the costs have a look at my cube journal added photos now with clear water I am very very impressed I have not seen any tanks other than with MH that compete.

You could easily bosh something with an item like that. It won't look pretty, probably isn't water proof, but it could be made to do what you want it to do...

A tanning salon that or juwel tubes - my juwel 54 w are close on 5ft

but

think I will go back to plan A - another juwel lighting unit, will look neater and not too much light for my euphyllias
