Would recomned doing a search on this forum, this is a topic that has been discussed a few times, with many suggestions, my adivce would be one of the tetratec range, in my opinion, they are great.

I have seen a tetratec 1200 for 64.99 is this a good buy?

yes thats a good price , however with your tank only being 96 litres i would recomend u tur the flow down a bit on the EX1200 or get a EX700!
