Im planning to use above in a 26L tank (i think) that has about 4 inches of water, will it be far too powerful? even if i divert outflow onto a small pile of rocks?
I need to know asap as i could possibly be buying this for £25 posted with the propellor that needs replacing and media (which is easy to get hold of)

impellors intact, its not even that bit, just the porcalain pipe/stick.

just so others know, this can sufficiently run a 240l tank (i think it was)

I would personally say, you will be able to get away with a sponge filter run by an air pump or one of those DIY filters

Yeah ive got the makings for a diy sponge filter im just wondering about the external cos it'd always come in handy if the filter in my other tank dies.
