Today one of my fry died. his belly turned red and bloated big time, the red looked like he exploded from within, is this normal? is there a name for this illness??

Today one of my fry died. his belly turned red and bloated big time, the red looked like he exploded from within, is this normal? is there a name for this illness??

It would help if we knew what type of fish, the tank size, and water parameters. Liver bearer or egg layer?

How old was he?

I have seen fry come out that are not formed right and their bellies are big within a few hours or days they usually die because of this deformity.
