Videos have been shared of the sea creatures, who were spotted at New Quay beach in Wales on Friday night.

Several octopuses died in the bizarre invasion, which has so far left experts puzzled.

Brett Stones, who runs SeaMor Dolphin Watching Boat Trips, filmed the creatures and said he’d never seen anything quite like it.

“They were walking on the tips of their legs,” he told The Telegraph.
