Eww, What Is This

Totally grossed out after I found this thing crawling up my 5.5 gallon tank wall. Can anyone identify this? My guess is a leech? Are those harmful in a tank full of 4 pygmy cories & 4 leopard cories? Just for size comparison, I had to use a brine shrimp net to catch it and haul it out of the tank. Yuck and I had stuck my entire arm in that tank today!

If you want to. They naturally occur in tanks, but fish usually eat them. Your fish are small, though, which is probably why this one is alive. If you don't want them to come back, try cutting back on the feeding.
