Espei & Copper Rasbora

I'm having a hard time finding espei rasbora near me but my Maidenhead Aquatics has these little guys called copper rasbora which I think could be the same fish but I'm not sure because they always look so faded and orange in LFS until you get them home!

I asked at my local MA when I was looking for espeis a few years ago and they told me their copper rasboras were hengelis. I did eventually find some espeis in a local shop. You could ask your MA what the coppers they have are.
Is it just the espeis you want or would the hengelis do just as well?

Na I just want espeis - I've actually got a mix of hengeli and espei now and I'm planning on rehoming the hengeli and getting more espeis

They still school together but the mis-match bothers me and the hengelis aren't as nice IMO

I agree, that's why I didn't get the copper rasboras in MA. it took a while but I did eventually track some espeis down.
