I'm currently treating whitespot in my tank with some med that contains mechalite green, although do not know the name as it got ripped off as the tape sealing the bottle was on it!
My neons now are displaying some symptoms of a bacterial problem, which I've been told is common when treating for whitespot. (they have ragged fins, and some have a white spot on their mouths).
Wilder told me to try a treatment called esha, which you can use their whitespot treatment and their bacterial treatment together, so I can treat the neons at the same time. I only have one fish (an angelfish) who has whitespot.
I was wondering if anyone has used this treatment and if so how effective did you find it?
