Hi guys I have been thinking about using esha 2000 and esha exit as part of quratining new fish, wondering what you guys think.

Also does anyone have any experience with esha optima?

You don't need to treat fish in quarantine unless they show symptoms. Unless they have white spots, you don't need Exit, for example.

But there are two eSHa medications which some do advocate using in quarantine - gdex and ndx. Many fish are infested with intestinal worms when we buy them and these are anti-worm medications. gdex kills flat worms such as tapeworms and ndx kills round worms such as camallanus worms. Or a single product flubendazole, which is in NT Labs/Maidenhead Aquatics AquaCare Anti-Fluke and Wormer.
