Esha Gastropex is a really good product and now one of the very few snail treatments on the market.... but like all... it knocks out/kills the snails but cant touch the eggs they have laid....

So it may take 2-3 treatments to get each new batch of snail babies which is why they say leave it 14 days, if you do it too soon, you'll only have to treat again and then again....

Best bet.... do 3 treatments 14 days apart and every time you buy more plants, leave them in the esha treatment over night!! :good:

Great advice MBOU! I had a lovely pest snail free tank... then bought some plants and never even gave the snails a thought. WOW! It was like i had a snail farm imported overnight! Don't seem too bad now though, just one tank where the odd one pops up but i just remove them or squash them.
