could she have cravings as she (her name is Sugar)is very pregnant because shes acting like she never ate before and i just fed them alot but made shure they ate it all before they get a alge wafer. i was just wondering if she could want more to eat or maybe want to eat something she didnt eat alot of before

Maybe pregnant platies have cravings, I don't know lol. But they do seem to want to keep eating. In general though most fish will eat more than they need. My fish including livebearers can eat 2-3 times more food than usual and still seem hungry.

I wouldn't feed them more even if they seem hungry. They live for food. Even just 5 minutes after feeding they'll look at me begging for more food.
